STUDENT PROFILE
Cedars Academy is a private residential college preparatory boarding school for boys and girls who are diverse in their learning styles and behaviors. Typically, our students come to us with diagnoses of ADHD, ADD, AS and NLD and succeed with our comprehensive academic, behavioral, affectively-based social skills building program. Our school does not serve students requiring an intensive medical psychiatric component in their setting. Other schools within and outside the Aspen Education Group are more appropriate for such students.
Some of our students benefit from medication which is prescribed and administered in accordance with applicable state regulations. Our staff is trained to monitor, document, oversee and administer medications as prescribed. We attend to every aspect of assistance available to us in insuring the success of Cedar’s students.
