Driving Directions to Cedars Academy Boarding School in Delaware
From the West and BWI & Dulles Airports:
Take Route 50 East over Bay Bridge through Kent Narrows. Turn left onto Route 404 East. (Do not follow Route 50 into Ocean City). Take Route 404 East through Denton to Bridgeville. Make a left turn onto Market Street, and a right turn onto Main Street. Follow signs to the intersection of Route 404 and Route 13 South. These signs also read to Lewes Cape May Ferry and to Delaware Visitor's Center.
Just before the intersection of Route 404 and Route 13, make a left turn at the News Print Shop. Cross both the north and south bound lanes of Route 13. Scott's Furniture is on the right. You will be on County Road 545 Rifle Range Road. Cedars Academy is 1.4 miles on the right. It is about a two-hour drive from the Washington, D.C. area, depending on the traffic.
From the North and Wilmington Train Station:
Take the Delaware Memorial Bridge to Route 13 South. Stay on Route 13 South, until you reach Bridgeville. This is about a two-hour drive, once you have crossed the bridge. You will pass through Smyrna, Dover, and Harrington. Harrington is about 20 minutes north of the Academy.
Once you have seen signs for Bridgeville, get into the left lane. Turn left at the access road in front of Scott's Furniture Store, a blue low-slung building. This is County Road 545 or Rifle Range Road. It is not well marked. The Academy is 1.4 miles on County Road 545 on the right hand side. Turn onto the property and park in the lot.
